My love for running is taking me to places around the world that I have dreamed of visiting. I love the challenge the races provides and the opportunity to visit somewhere new and beautiful, it is so rewarding and inspiring. Boston Marathon

Distance: 42km
I had been training over winter to run the Boston Marathon.  I was excited as I qualified for this race and it is one of the top 10 races to run.  However during a training run in San Jose I pulled my calf muscle and couldn't run for 3 months.  So that ended my plans to take part in the Boston Marathon.

I got physio and continued to do some strength training, as well as skiing which helped me keep some of my fitness.
